Lastly thanks for having Kindle unlimited for readers that use that program. Having the visible and private settings is so user friendly and prevents spoilers and personal private thoughts in the reader's control. This has helped me keep track of stories and have a place to check since sometimes after reading so many books it can be confusing to remember them all. I also have gotten into the habit of summarizing after each chapter or after short story. I love this feature because as I read I can comment on a passage and it is interesting to see how my views change as I read the story. I wish I had started taking more notes when I began. Thank you Goodreads, for your continual efforts to make the notes and highlights user friendly! I started using beta notes last year and with that use, I changed my reading practice which I keep trying to improve. And if you're worried about spoilers, we've got you covered! You can mark individual notes and highlights as spoilers, so your friends can decide when they're ready to read them. You can also add notes or edit your notes directly on Goodreads, and your changes will be saved back to your Kindle book. You can choose to share them with friends by marking any (or all) of your notes and highlights as "Visible," and your friends will be able to view, like, and comment on them. By default, your Kindle notes and highlights are only viewable by you-you're always in control.
